Army visit to school for 'British Values Day', amid recruitment crisis

Personnel from the Army recently visited a school in Sheffield as part of the school's 'British Values Day'.

ForcesWatch and others have previously raised questions about obligatory 'British Values' education in schools, with ForcesWatch concerned that it will make critical thinking about the UK military more difficult.

In related news, further light has been shed on the extent of the Army's current recruitment crises, by inside sources. An MoD minister recently acknowledged that "there are challenges we need to address" regarding the recruitment of people from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.
